We prepare traditional Basque cuisine using the freshest seasonal fish, vegetables, and meats—sourced daily from our trusted suppliers at the markets of San Sebastián.

IBAI offers two set menus: €190 and €210. Both include a broth, appetizers, a choice of starters, a main course featuring the best fish of the day, a selection of artisanal cheeses, dessert, and petit fours.

We also offer exclusive off-menu dishes at an additional cost for guests seeking a more elevated experience.

To personalize your menu and ensure you enjoy it to the fullest, it’s essential that you inform us at the time of booking about any allergies, intolerances, or ingredients you simply don’t enjoy..

¿How can I make a reservation at IBAI?

You can make a reservation directly through our website in the Reservations section by following the steps provided.
If there is no availability on your desired date, you may sign up for our waiting list.

How far in advance can I make a reservation?

Reservations can be made up to 30 days in advance through our website: www.baribai.com

Will I receive a confirmation from Bar Ibai after booking?

Yes. Once your reservation is complete, you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive it, please contact us at:reservas@baribai.com. Seven days before your reservation date, you will receive a reminder email where you may confirm or cancel your reservation free of charge (see cancellation policy below).

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations must be made via email at reservas@baribai.com and follow our timeline below:

Reservations for up to 5 guests: modifications or cancellations accepted free of charge up to 7 days before the reservation date.

Reservations for up to 15 guests: same policy—modifications or cancellations accepted up to 7 days prior.

Groups over 15 guests: modifications accepted up to 7 days prior without penalty.

Cancellations or changes made after the deadline, or no-shows, will incur a fee of €190 per person.

How do I book for a group?

For group bookings, please contact us directly at reservas@baribai.com. We’ll provide all the necessary details and current availability.

What are the opening hours of Bar Ibai?

Restaurant: Monday to Friday from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
Pintxos Bar: Monday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Closed on Saturdays and Sundays

Where is IBAI located?

IBAI is located at Calle Getaria 15, in San Sebastián.
We do not have private parking, but there are two public parking garages within 500 meters: Parking Buen Pastor and Parking del Bulevar.

What if someone in our party has an allergy or intolerance?

Our menu is based on fresh, seasonal ingredients.
If you or any guest has allergies or intolerances, please inform us at least 7 days in advance.
Otherwise, we cannot guarantee we’ll be able to adapt the menu.

Is there a dress code?

We do not have a dress code. What matters most to us is that you feel comfortable and enjoy your meal.

What happens if I arrive late?

lWe kindly ask all our guests to be on time to fully enjoy the experience. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late without prior notice, we may consider it a no-show.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept major credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) and cash in euros.

Are children allowed at the restaurant?

We do not offer a children's menu. If you visit us with children, they must dine from the same menu as adults. For this reason, we do not recommend bringing children under 10 years old. We also do not provide high chairs.
